Frequently Asked Questions. Short Answers.

How do I find an apartment if I am currently still abroad?

Many providers offer online viewings or video calls - it's best to inquire directly with the listing or real estate agent. On platforms like willhaben.at or immobilienscout24.at, you can also activate reservations or search agents. A personal contact on site (e.g. future employer) can also be helpful. We recommend only signing a contract and transferring money after viewing the apartment in person or if using a licensed real estate agent.

Is a move to Außerfern possible even if I don't speak German well yet?

Of course! German courses are regularly offered by regional educational institutions - for beginners as well as for advanced learners. Just send an email to the Welcome Center at zukunft@ausserfern.tirol - we will be happy to help you find the right course for you.
