MULTIVAC Maschinenbau Gesellschaft m.b.H. + Co. KG was established in 1974 in Lechaschau as an additional MULTIVAC production site to meet the growing demand for packaging machines.
Over the following five decades, the facility continuously expanded its scope of responsibilities — accompanied by regular increases in production space and the implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing technology.
Today, the site, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, employs 370 people and ranks among the largest production locations within the MULTIVAC Group.
It manufactures assemblies for packaging machines as well as the required components.
MULTIVAC Lechaschau is recognized as an attractive employer and has repeatedly received the “Excellent Tyrolean Training Company” award since 2003, training young professionals in various technical fields at its in-house training center.
