Housekeeping Supervisor (m/w/d)

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth running of operations in your assigned area of responsibility and ensure that cleanliness, hygiene and quality standards are consistently maintained.

Your position has a strong operational focus: you are present on the floor, work actively, support the housekeeping staff in daily business and are the first point of contact for operational issues. At the same time, you are the extended arm of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and a decisive factor in successfully implementing the housekeeping strategy "on the floor".

Your main tasks:

• Ensuring the consistent implementation of housekeeping standards in the direct working environment of employees
• Presence and guidance of the housekeeping staff in the assigned area during the daily business as well as active cooperation when required
• Checking guest rooms, public areas and internal areas in accordance with the defined quality and hygiene standards
• Ensuring compliance with timelines, workflows and priorities in the area of responsibility
• Responsibility for order, cleanliness and functionality of the housekeeping offices and floor trolleys
• Organization and coordination of additional and special services
• Support with inventories, material counts and ongoing monitoring of consumables
• Recognizing, reporting and tracking defects, damage or technical faults in collaboration with the technical department
• Technical support with the induction of new employees
• Passing on quality deviations, bottlenecks and suggestions for improvement to the supervisor

Our requirements for you:

Professional qualifications:

• Completed training in the hotel industry or several years of relevant professional experience in housekeeping, ideally in a management-related position
• Very good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, order and efficient work processes
• Efficiency and a strong understanding of organization

• Structured, reliable and independent way of working
• Presence and assertiveness
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to actively participate
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain an overview even during work-intensive phases
• Team-oriented, respectful and clear demeanor
• A sense of responsibility for your own area and the team
• Good communication skills in German and English, additional language skills (e.g. Hungarian and/or Serbian) an advantage

Remuneration according to Familux Pay from € 2920.00 gross at 45 h/week. (Overpayment depending on qualifications)
