As a Chef de Partie, you are responsible for the overall operational management of your assigned kitchen station and ensure consistently high quality, efficiency, and order in daily kitchen operations.

This position combines professional excellence with confident station leadership and represents a key pillar of a stable, professional, and economically run kitchen operation.

 
Your Main Responsibilities:

• Independent management of the assigned kitchen station
• Ensuring a structured, efficient, and smooth workflow during preparation and service
• Professional preparation, processing, and presentation of dishes in accordance with defined standards and recipes
• Responsibility for quality, cleanliness, and order within your own work area
• Consistent compliance with all hygiene, safety, and quality standards (including HACCP)
• Professional guidance, support, and supervision of Commis de Cuisine and apprentices assigned to the station
• Participation in onboarding and training new team members at the station
• Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering and goods receipt in coordination with the kitchen management
• Cost-conscious handling of food to minimize food waste
• Close cooperation with kitchen management and service staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Implementation and compliance with all internal workflows, standards, and guidelines set by kitchen management

 
Our Requirements for You

Professional Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a chef
• At least 2–3 years of professional experience as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable position, ideally in upscale gastronomy or hospitality
• Strong professional understanding of kitchen organization, workflows, and station management
• Very good knowledge of applicable hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Ability to work confidently under time pressure and with high guest volume

• Excellent time management skills, enjoyment of clear processes, stability, and professional collaboration
• Good knowledge of German and English; additional languages are an advantage

Compensation according to Familux Pay starting at a minimum of €2,800 gross for 45 hours/week (depending on qualifications).
