It is largely responsible for the first and lasting impression of the resort and ensures that rooms, public areas and internal areas are in perfect, high-quality condition at all times.


As Executive Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the operational, technical and organizational management of the entire housekeeping area and ensure that all guest rooms, public areas as well as staff and back-of-house areas meet the resort's high quality, hygiene and service standards at all times.

In addition to the operational responsibility, the focus of the position is on the responsibility for the structural development of the organization, the systematic qualification and development of the teams as well as the evaluation, control and sustainable anchoring of housekeeping standards throughout the resort.

 

Your main tasks:

  • Operational, technical and organizational overall management of the housekeeping area including guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets, spa & wellness areas as well as staff and back-of-house areas
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness, hygiene and quality throughout the resort
  • Responsibility for the evaluation, further development and sustainable implementation of housekeeping standards, quality processes and control systems
  • Establishing, managing and continuously developing an efficient housekeeping organization including clear management structures, roles and responsibilities
  • Organization and management of staff deployment, duty and working time models and resources
  • Responsibility for operational costs, use of materials, inventory management and the evaluation and planning of necessary investments
  • Management and overall technical responsibility for external service providers in the housekeeping environment
  • Regular, overarching quality controls and inspections to ensure that defined standards are met
  • Active participation in the further development of process and quality-relevant organizational structures in the rooms area

 

Our requirements for you:


Professional qualifications

  • Proven professional and management experience as an executive housekeeper or in a deputy management role in a 4- or 5-star hotel
  • Very good operational understanding of all housekeeping relevant processes in rooms and public areas
  • Experience in staff scheduling, cost control, materials and inventory management
  • Sound knowledge of quality, hygiene and organizational standards
  • Ability to manage operational quality, organization and profitability simultaneously
  • Experience in working with structured quality, hygiene and organizational standards (e.g. LQA, ISO, comparable internal quality or audit systems) or demonstrable understanding of their structure, implementation and sustainable application in operational hotel operations
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office, confident use of Opera / Opera Cloud is required

  • Experience in leading international, multicultural teams and the ability to organize training and work processes in a clear, structured and practical manner
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with a strong personal commitment to quality
  • Ability to switch confidently between organizational work and operational presence
  • Ability to work under pressure, strong decision-making skills and clear, calm communication
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, additional language skills (e.g. Hungarian and/or Serbian) an advantage
  • Experience in leading multicultural teams desirable

Remuneration according to Familux Pay from € 3570.00 gross at 45 h/week. (Overpayment depending on qualifications)
