As Chef de Rang at the Alpenrose Familux Resort, you will take responsibility for your own service station and work with your team to create an exceptional guest experience at the highest level.

Some of your tasks:

• Operational management of the assigned service station incl. mise-en-place, service flow and follow-up
• Professionally welcoming and looking after guests
• Taking food and drink orders, coordinating the entire service flow within the station
• Professional wine service in close coordination with the sommelier team, without taking on sommelier-specific advisory or sales tasks
• Confident serving of food and beverages
• Guidance, support and quality control for assigned employees (e.g. Commis de Rang, Demi Chef de Rang)
• Ensuring compliance with all service, quality and hygiene standards as well as monitoring cleanliness and order in the station area
• Professional handling of guest requests and concerns within the station
• Participation in service briefings and involvement in training and internal quality initiatives

What you bring with you:

• Completed training in gastronomy/hospitality or many years of service experience
• Several years of experience in upscale service (4- or 5-star)
• Sound basic knowledge of professional wine service
• Knowledge of modern service techniques and handling of food & beverages
• Confident handling of POS systems (e.g. Micros) and understanding of operational processes
• Knowledge of hygiene and quality standards
• Distinctive host personality with natural authority and empathy
• Structured, detail-oriented and reliable way of working
• Ability to guide and motivate Commis de Rang and act as a role model
• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with guests and teams
• Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness and high service orientation
• Enjoy operational presence and a professional appearance
